Squirrel on the Roof
I didn’t see much in the way of wildlife at the park this morning, but I found this squirrel on the garage roof when I got home. The neighbors’ dogs were very interested in it.
Magikarp is feeling the impact of the ongoing drought.
Not sure what happened to this sign, but I’m guessing it probably involved someone’s boot and that rock.

I heard noises from this palm tree and went to look. I couldn't quite catch *what* was moving up there at first, so I just pointed the camera up to where I saw movement and took a few shots. Turned out to be these two squirrels, who then chased each other around the trunk, chittering and knocking debris down.

It’s been a while since I saw a plume moth
It’s been a while since I saw a plume moth, at least that I could recognize. This one followed me inside and immediately alighted on a stand lamp. And after I went to turn out the rest of the lights to lure it back outside, it had already flown off.
Still not used to the idea that restaurants can sell beer to go now.
Spotted a Monarch butterfly today, and it actually landed and held still long enough for me to get a clear photo.
