I went for a walk at lunch, and this was just sitting there taking up a zillion parking spaces. And no license plate to take down. Anyone recognize this vehicle?
And the spaces clearly say “compact.” On what planet is *that* a compact car?

Space Shuttle Endeavour in a Los Angeles parking lot, as seen from a parking structure and office building about a mile away. Full photoset including last month’s landing on Flickr.
On TumblrI saw Endeavour on one of its flybys today, and watched it land at LAX.
There were a few snags (like the fact that the space shuttle flew past the OTHER side of the building twice when I wasn’t expecting it), but that’s what makes it a story and not just a statement, right? Read on (plus more photos)!
