Me 10 minutes ago: I have an umbrella! I can totally handle walking to lunch in the rain!
I hadn’t considered the utter shortfall of drainage along this street. I narrowly missed getting completely drenched with muddy gutter water by a full sized truck at this spot.
Raindrops on sage, spotted while walking around in the rain today.
There were two major cloudbursts, one overnight and one mid-morning. At this point the second one had faded to a little more than a drizzle, something a bit more comfortable to walk in.
In the gutters… We had a rare summer thunderstorm today. The water is welcome! I just wish we weren’t sending so much of the runoff out to sea.
