We went out for frozen yogurt to celebrate finally putting all the Christmas decorations away, only to find that the shop still had their Halloween decorations up. Cloud shadows on the sky
Cloud shadows on the sky. The late afternoon sun is off to the right. The shadows were just barely visible to the naked eye, so I’ve increased the contrast severely.
Tree Shadows in the Fog
The fog was pouring over the ridge just before sunset, and just minutes after a solar eclipse. I’d gone up into the hills to get above the fog and watch the eclipse and discovered a sort of mini-festival of people who had all had the same idea. More photos & writeup of the eclipse.
