Two crows chased a squirrel across the lawn at a park…

Two crows chased a squirrel across the lawn at a park, one of them swooping down and possibly making contact with its claws (I couldn't quite tell) until it ran up this tree. Then they perched on a nearby fence and waited. When it tried to run down the trunk, they flew at it again and it went back up. One crow perched on another branch of the tree and waited, while the other flew off.

I heard the squirrel chattering, then turned to look for it and spotted it up in a magnolia tree. Surprisingly, it held still while I walked around the tree to get a better angle. Then after I took a few more pictures, it jumped off the branch onto a nearby house-turned-museum.

One of these days, after it’s opened again, I’m going to have to actually visit the museum and not just the park.

I saw this squirrel from about 20 feet away. It slowly moved toward me, pausing to pose every few feet. I think it was hoping I would feed it.

Spot the squirrels!

Spot the squirrels!

I heard noises from this palm tree and went to look. I couldn't quite catch *what* was moving up there at first, so I just pointed the camera up to where I saw movement and took a few shots. Turned out to be these two squirrels, who then chased each other around the trunk, chittering and knocking debris down.

I didn’t have much luck photographing #birds this time, but I did catch some good shots of this one. Though I’m not sure what it is. Maybe a warbler?

This #squirrel was one of three that scattered as I approached a trail junction. The other two hid. This one froze. It blended in very well!

And while I *saw* lots of #butterflies, this mourning cloak is the only one that held still long enough for me to get a #photo.
