Most of the squirrels I see are really skittish around people. This one, in a city park, walked up to me and posed. I think it was expecting me to feed it.

We were out for the monthly #PokemonGo Community Day, and I spotted this #BlackPhoebe just as I spun a Team Rocket-occupied stop. Somehow I managed to get a decent photo of it while battling Team Rocket.

I slowly crept up toward the seagull hoping to get a photo of it perched on that pole, but it calmly turned around and flew off. I thought I’d missed it when I snapped the photo, but it turns out that I’d caught it just unfurling its wings.
And yes, the water really is that green. Ew.
