So, a client sends me an email saying that Site X is down. I check. It's running just fine. I can see it, DNS is working, it's accessible from outside our network. But they have two domain names pointing to that site. It turns out the OTHER one is expired, but they specifically reported the WORKING one as down. *headdesk*
