Yeah, I know it’s mostly bad-faith. Half the time the “other guy” didn’t start it, didn’t do anything equivalent. It’s like, “Why are you on about my guy driving a getaway car for a bank robbery? Your guy drives a car too!”
And of course, they’re *deeply offended* if you flip their guy the bird when he cuts you off while driving his getaway car. Because rude gestures are sooooo much more important than reckless driving. Or, you know, bank robbery.
