Whenever Trumpwhines about the “deep state” I’m reminded that he’s *literally* the big city hot shot who sweeps in, thinks he knows your job better than you do & tries to micromanage everything while you scramble under the radar to keep things actually *functioning*.
And that’s being generous.
When someone like that pushes out the people who understand the job in favor of people who tell him what he wants to hear… Well, we’ve all seen how that turns out, right?
Not very well.
