You know that movie/book/TV show where an epidemic hits and the government decides to suppress information about it? And how it always ends up backfiring spectacularly because people don’t have accurate information? It would be nice if we could just NOT play that out in reality.

Whenever Trumpwhines about the “deep state” I’m reminded that he’s *literally* the big city hot shot who sweeps in, thinks he knows your job better than you do & tries to micromanage everything while you scramble under the radar to keep things actually *functioning*.
