Whoa… It turns out the #Arecibo observatory’s collapse was caught on two video cameras, one at the control center and one on a drone that was being used to inspect it.

The 57-year-old Arecibo radio telescope, damaged by storms and snapped cables, and already set to be decommissioned, has collapsed before it could be dismantled.
Fortunately, no one seems to have been injured.
