Throwback Thursday: Stuck in the emergency room during Comic Con last year. Note the Graphitti wristband allowing me to buy one of their exclusives. I never made it back to the floor that weekend. Full story at K2R, but TL;DR is undisclosed peanut powder in a coffee drink put me into anaphylactic shock.

I’m hoping this year will go better!

Religious protesters have been showing up at Comic-Con lately, apparently under the impression that having fun with something out of a book is the same as worshiping it. Con-goers have responded with parodies.

Intense stress, doing the impossible, meeting artists, keeping a toddler entertained, chaos good and bad, and a genuine medical emergency.

All this, and I still managed to finish my convention write-up on time. (How did that happen?)

I Survived Comic-Con 2013!

And this year, that’s saying something. (I’ll get into that later.)
